A-Level ESL program provides pupils with a comprehensive and immersive English language learning experience. This program is specifically designed for pupils whose first language is not English and aims to develop their proficiency in the language for academic and professional purposes.
A-Level ESL is a two-year course designed to enhance pupils’ English language skills, including reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The program focuses on developing fluency, accuracy, and a deep understanding of the English language, enabling pupils to effectively communicate and engage with English-speaking communities and academic environments.
It assesses reading, writing, and listening skills through examination papers, while speaking skills are assessed through an optional face-to-face interview.
Assessment in the A-Level ESL program encompasses various language skills and components. Pupils are assessed through written assignments, presentations, examinations, and oral assessments, which evaluate their language proficiency, comprehension, and critical thinking abilities.
