To truly engage with this subject, pupils should have an interest in current affairs, real-life stories, and the willingness to explore their own interests and curiosities. A great way to prepare for this IGCSE is through extensive reading and listening, encompassing a wide range of written fiction, nonfiction, and documentary-style radio or film.
It is important to note that English Language is not an optional subject, and pupils' written expression will be closely evaluated. pupils should fully invest in every opportunity to expand their vocabulary and improve their spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
